Ishiguro’s first novel in six years is well worth the wait! Klara becomes the ‘artificial friend’ for a sick girl but she is more than just a machine. If you liked ‘Never Let Me Go’ you’ll love this one – it’s the most I’ve cried over a robot since “Bicentennial Man’.
